Package Solutions and Skids
One purchase order instead of eleven. The elements, the run, the manifolds, the transmitters, the frame and the wiring arrive assembled, tested and documented as a single tagged item — so the interface engineering happens in our shop, not on your construction schedule.
Separate disciplines, one engineering approach
Each has its own page. They share a build philosophy and differ in what sits on the frame. Every one is engineered against your P&ID and datasheets rather than a catalogue configuration.
Custody Transfer Measurement Skid
Fiscal metering · AGA-3 / ISO 5167
Meter run with the primary element, upstream and downstream spools, flow conditioning, instrument manifolds, differential pressure and static transmitters, temperature element, flow computer enclosure and the welded frame under all of it.
Single or multi-stream, with or without a bypass and a proving connection.
View product →Sampling Systems
SWAS · coolers · conditioning panels
Steam and water analysis systems taking a representative sample from the cycle, cooling and depressurising it, then conditioning it to the temperature and flow the analysers need. Grab sample points, blowdown and drain routing included.
Conductivity, pH, dissolved oxygen, silica and sodium loops as required.
View product →Sampling Cabinets
Enclosed · climate controlled · walk-up
The same sampling function inside a closed enclosure for outdoor or hazardous locations: stainless panel cabinet, internal tubing and valving on a mounting plate, heating or cooling, lighting and cable entries.
Free standing, wall mounted or walk-up analyser house configurations.
View product →What arrives on the frame
The division of scope is agreed in writing before detailed engineering starts. Anything outside it is listed as a customer interface on the drawing, so nothing is assumed by either side.
Send us a P&ID →| Primary element | Orifice plate, fitting, venturi, nozzle or cone, sized and certified |
| Piping | Meter run, spools, conditioning, supports, welding and NDE records |
| Instrumentation | DP and static transmitters, temperature element, manifolds, root valves |
| Impulse lines | Tubing, fittings, condensate pots and trace heating where the service needs it |
| Enclosure | Flow computer or analyser cabinet, junction boxes, cable trays, glanding |
| Frame | Welded steel base with lifting lugs, surface treatment and painting to specification |
| Testing | Hydrostatic test (pneumatic where the project specifies), leak test, loop check, factory acceptance test with witness option |
How a package is built
Five stages, each with a document you sign off before the next one starts.
Enquiry
P&ID, datasheets, process conditions and the space envelope. We come back with the sizing and a scope split.
Engineering
General arrangement, piping isometrics, wiring schedules and the instrument index for approval.
Fabrication
Elements machined, spools welded and inspected, frame built, instruments mounted and tubed.
Testing
Pressure and leak test, loop check and factory acceptance test. You are welcome to witness it.
Handover
Documentation dossier, as-built drawings, certificates and commissioning support on request.
What to send with an enquiry
There is no standard frame size. Every package is drawn to the space available, the utilities at the location and the instrument list the project has already fixed.
The general arrangement — plan, elevation, connection positions and lifting points — is issued for approval before fabrication starts.
Sizing enquiry sheet →| What you send | What it decides |
|---|---|
| P&ID or datasheet set | Fixes the scope of the process section and the valve count |
| Analyser and instrument list | Makes and models you have standardised on |
| Available footprint and height | Sets the frame layout and whether the package splits |
| Process conditions | Medium, flow, pressure and temperature at the tie-in |
| Utilities at the location | Instrument air, power, cooling water and drain |
| Area classification | Zone, gas group and the protection rating required |
| Ambient conditions | Temperature range, indoor or outdoor, heating or cooling needed |
| Test and inspection scope | FAT, hydrostatic test (pneumatic where the project specifies) and loop check, witnessed or not |
Documents
- Package: [measurement skid / sampling system / sampling cabinet] engineered to the project P&ID and datasheets, assembled, tested and documented as one tagged item.
- Scope: primary element, piping (meter run, spools, conditioning, supports), instrumentation, impulse lines, enclosure and frame, as listed in a written scope division; anything outside it shown as a customer interface on the drawing.
- Design data from the purchaser: process conditions at the tie-in, utilities [instrument air, power, cooling water, drain], area classification [zone, gas group, protection rating] and ambient conditions.
- Engineering documents for approval: general arrangement, piping isometrics, wiring schedules and instrument index, before fabrication.
- Frame: welded steel base with lifting lugs, surface treatment and painting to [specification].
- Testing: hydrostatic test (pneumatic where specified), leak test, loop check and factory acceptance test, [witnessed / not witnessed].
- Handover: documentation dossier, as-built drawings and certificates.
Package Solutions
Packages are quoted from documents, not from a form. Send the P&ID, the instrument datasheets and the space you have available — that is enough for a scope split and a budget figure.
